My name is Tina Remiz. I grew up in Riga, Latvia, at the crossroads of Nordic and Slavic cultures.
In 2008 I moved to the UK, studied Visual Communications at the University of Westminster and worked in the media industry for five years before falling in love with design. I currently work as a UX designer at Make it Clear agency in London.
In my work, form always follows function, as I am interested how things work before how they look. I am an advocate of ethical and sustainable design and always put users' needs above profit margins.
I'm interested in accessibility, climate change, data visualisation, design systems, effective altruism, games, infodemiology, linguistics, mountains, sustainable living, trail running, and the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. You can talk to me in English, Russian, Latvian and (some) French. Get in touch!
